Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is going to organize the Information Security Showcase on 14th July 2010 (Wednesday) in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

With more new malware identified everyday, using new channel such as instant messaging, social network and smartphone to launch attacks; and stealthy nature of these attacks, it will be necessary for us to keep reminding the users on how to protect themselves from these emerging threats. The Showcase will provide a broad outlook on the latest cyber attack trends as well as the defense strategy and mechanism. With the theme "A Strategy for Cyber Defense", the Showcase this year shall provide a platform for users to know and understand the countermeasure available in the market. The Showcase also serves as a platform for the Information Security and IT Service Management product and service providers to reach out to their potential clients.

HKPC has been organizing the showcase for consecutive 10 years and this year will again be conducted in the form of seminars and exhibition on various aspects of Information Security and IT Service Management in one day, and then followed by a series of in-depth workshops. Overseas experts from the industry will be invited to conduct speeches and workshops.
